OLYMPIC BEACH VOLLEYBALL

This project is a visual study of player statistics from the 2024 Olympic Beach Volleyball Tournament. Its primary goal was to understand how important individual player statistics are when determining who will win.

With very little prior knowledge of beach volleyball, I intentionally chose this topic to challenge myself. I wanted to let my research lead the design process and fully immerse myself into the world of data visualization. As the depth of my findings grew, I decided on a booklet format which allowed me ample space to communicate everything I had to say. I wanted my work to be accessible, even to those like me who know very little about the sport, which is why more space was needed.
